4 However, flesh with its life, that is, (A)its blood, you shall not eat. 5 Surely I will require [a](B)your lifeblood; [b](C)from every living thing I will require it. And [c]from every man, [d]from each man’s brother I will require the life of man.

6 (D)Whoever sheds man’s blood,
By man his blood shall be shed,
For (E)in the image of God
He made man.
